Representing Tasmania
Representing Caravanning Tasmania at Parliament House
Our Jo headed to Canberra last week for two fantastic industry events.
Jo had the privilege of representing Caravanning Tasmania in her role as Vice President at the Caravan Industry Association of Australia State and National Forum, alongside industry leaders, the National Board and all State Associations.
A special thank you to Senator Don Farrell, Minister for Tourism and Trade, for his inspiring opening address and continued support for our industry.
Jo was also part of the Parliamentary Friends of Caravanning (FoC) event at Parliament House — bringing together key policymakers and industry advocates to discuss opportunities, address challenges, and celebrate Australia’s love for caravanning and camping.
Caravan Industry Association of Australia sponsored the first gathering of the Parliamentary Friends of Tourism — with over 60 Members and Senators from across the political spectrum in attendance, alongside tourism industry leaders from across the sector.
The event was a powerful demonstration of bipartisan support for growing Australia’s visitor economy, and a celebration of the collaboration that continues to strengthen our industry.
Proud to be part of an industry that’s passionate, united, and future-focused.
